The Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, The integration of both art and science of a traditional healthcare therapy that is a branch of Thai Traditional Medicine, massage modality developed by our Thai Ancient Teachers since pre-history and passed down through generations to generations until today.

The Traditional Thai Massage or "Nuad Thai"i s a manifestation of Thai Traditional values, especially compassion toward those who suffering and the spirit of  mutual aid in the family and community. The traditional has helped strengthen community self-reliance in health as well as personal bonds. With its health benefits and contribution to the well-being of individuals, families, and communities,  Nuad Thai represents a priceless cultural legacy of the Thai people.

 

The healing of art of Nuad Thai aiming to redress irregularities and imbalances among the Four elements, which contribute the human body according to Thai Traditional Medicine. Diagnosis and treatment are based on the theory of SEN-PRATHAN-SIP, described in Thai Traditional Medicine texts.  According to the theory, LOM or Wind is carried through the body by a network of 72,000 of SEN (Energy) Lines, but only 10 of them are primary ones, general know as SEN-PRATHAN-SIP or SEN_SIP. When it is blocked SEN Lines, disturbed and restricted by stagnation in the flow of blood and wind in energy lines and cause various symptoms and illnesses -  mild or severe, acute or chronic - from pains, aches, stiff, sprains, strains, tightness, swelling, hot, cold, cramp, numbness, immobility, loss of taste sensation to nausea. SEN-PRATHAN-SIP is a primary diagnostic tool to detect stagnant wind and blood, and other abnormalities occuring to the four elements.

 

Thai Massage practitioners use a variety of techniques including pressing, circling, kneading, pounding, bending, squeezing, pinching, stretching, pulling and other manipulation techniques such as using knees, hands, legs, and feet to move you in to the postures and stretches. hot herbal compression to manipulate specific points along these pathways in order to restore normal energy flow and blood circulation, thus enhancing health health and relieving pain, stiffness, tightness and other sypmtoms.

 

... "Nuad Thai"  is No oil or lotion is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session with 90-120 minutes will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
